Within the AML tool, there are two types of users. On the one hand there is the type "office employee", on the other hand there is the type "AML officer". You can find the difference between the tasks of the office worker and the AML officer in the section "What is the difference between an office worker and an AML?".

The tool will indicate whether an AML officer has already been appointed for your organization. If no AML officer has yet been appointed in the tool, you will be able to click on the sentence "No AML officer has yet been appointed". “Become an AML officer now." on the notifications page.

You will need to complete a very concise registration, after which you can use the tool as AML officer.

If an AML officer has already been appointed within the organization, you will see "You can become an AML officer. Become AML officer." on the notification page. By clicking this, you will also be able to become an AML officer.

If you are the administrator of the organization and there is already an AML officer, you can also become an AML officer in a second way. To do so, click on your name in the top right corner followed by the organization. In the menu that appears, choose "Tools". You will then see an overview of all tools registered for the selected organization. You choose "Details" for the tool "AML ". Then you choose the tab "AML officer ". You will see an overview of the employees at the bottom of this page. Here you can set the access per employee to "AML officer" so that these users also become AML officer.
